25-hour Yoga Nidra
Facilitator Training (Online)
Conscious Rest • Nervous System Regulation • Guided Awareness
25-hour Yoga Nidra Teacher Training
01st May 2027 - Online section of the training will commence
About the Training
This 25-hour Yoga Nidra Facilitator Training is designed as a serious and structured introduction to the practice of conscious rest.
Yoga Nidra is often translated as “yogic sleep,” but the practice itself sits somewhere far more nuanced. It is not sleep, and it is not simply relaxation. It is a method of guiding awareness through different layers of experience while the body rests, allowing the nervous system to settle without losing consciousness.
In a time where most people are either overstimulated or exhausted, the ability to remain aware while resting is not common. It is a skill. And like any skill, it requires understanding, practice, and sensitivity.
This training is designed to help you develop that understanding, both as a practitioner and as a facilitator.
Beyond Scripts and Surface-Level Relaxation
Much of what is taught as Yoga Nidra today is reduced to scripts and recordings. While these can be helpful starting points, they do not necessarily develop the ability to guide others with clarity.
This training does not position Yoga Nidra as something to be memorised or performed.
Instead, it explores the structure, intention, and mechanics of the practice so that you can understand:
-
how awareness moves,
-
how the body responds to guided rest,
-
and how different individuals experience stillness in different ways.
From this place, teaching becomes less about repeating words and more about facilitating an experience.

Why Yoga Nidra Matters in Modern Practice
Most people today do not struggle with effort. They struggle with rest.
They find it difficult to slow down without distraction, to lie still without discomfort, or to remain present without drifting into sleep or restlessness.
Yoga Nidra offers a structured way to work with these patterns.
Through guided awareness, it supports:
the transition from doing to being,
the shift from activation to regulation,
and the ability to observe internal states without reacting to them.
For this reason, Yoga Nidra has become increasingly relevant in areas such as stress management, sleep support, mental health, trauma-aware practices, and therapeutic settings.
