SOMĀNTRA™

Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in Scotland (UK)

A 350-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training

in Nervous System Regulation • Somatic Intelligence • Subtle Body • Sound & Space Holding

SOMĀNTRA™ is a modular advanced training for teachers and serious practitioners seeking depth beyond performance and clarity beyond ideology.

The name SOMĀNTRA™ is derived from two Sanskrit roots:

  • Soma - often understood as the nectar of quiet awareness, the subtle intelligence of rest, integration, and inner nourishment

  • Mantra - a tool of refinement, repetition, and attunement; that which steadies and directs the mind

Together, SOMĀNTRA™ represents a movement from effort to attunement, from doing to listening, where practice becomes less about external form and more about internal coherence.

What SOMĀNTRA™ Trains

This programme is a structured exploration of:

• Nervous system regulation

• Somatic and structural intelligence

• Breath-based integration

• Subtle body literacy

• Conscious facilitation and leadership

• Nāda Yoga and sound-based awareness

Rather than adding more techniques, SOMĀNTRA™ cultivates discernment.

It trains teachers to understand inner mapping and to teach from embodied clarity rather than external validation.

SOMĀNTRA™ may be completed in full (350 hours) or taken in individual levels as Continuing Professional Education (CEP) for 200-hour certified teachers.

Each level confers a defined professional scope of practice.

300 hour yoga teacher training with Madhura Bhagwat

Alexandra Stefanits, Hungary

I did my YTT with Madhura and continued my practice with her after that. I’ll forever consider her my teacher. Through her teachings, wisdom and vast knowledge on yoga styles, poses, meditation, adjustment and alignment, philosophy, history and the practice itself I learnt what yoga truly is. Doing a YTT with her was an experience that not only changed my practice but my whole life.

What You Will Study in the 350 Hour
Somantra Advanced
Yoga Teacher Training
